Google suffered a huge setback when an appeals court said the company will get to campaign a huge privacy case all over its Street View engineering science.The 22 people suing Google say it violated the Wiretap Act by tapping into data from snobby Wi-Fi networks to produce street views.
Google tried and true to scram the suit thrown out, but a judge and now a Union soldier appeals court have rejected its argument that the Wi-Fi communications were "readily approachable to the unspecialized public," The Greater New York Times reported.
